The process of evaluating a new manager is a time-consuming one which requires attention to detail and an ability to look beyond the numbers and the "sales pitch" to discover what the manager is really all about. The sourcing, evaluating and monitoring of managers is led by our research team but our consultants take a proactive interest in meeting with managers and getting to know a firm's key individuals and strategies.
With $10 billion under advisement, Canterbury has significant visibility (buying power) to attract managers. However, we maintain an open door policy which means we will look hard at all potential candidates including managers not listed in any database, those that may not have the marketing resources to come to us and those that may be suggested by our clients.
