The financial analyst position at Canterbury Consulting offers an excellent opportunity to learn about a variety of investment managers, investment strategies and investment processes. The analyst is responsible for the day to day servicing of client accounts and will play a valuable role in the manager research process. They will analyze client portfolios and, with the guidance of the consultant, produce asset allocation reports, investment policy statements, manager search reports and performance reports. The analyst is responsible for nearly all client communication and assists the client with manager transitions and operational transactions. The qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, exceptional organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a group. Previous industry experience or relevant licenses are preferred.
