Mr. Laven joined Canterbury in 1995 as a senior consultant. Prior to joining Canterbury, he was in charge of asset consulting on the West Coast for the Retirement Services Division of CIGNA Corporation. From 1985 to 1986, he was a consultant with Allrich, Alexander & Co. in Los Angeles, where he specialized in pension investments.
