Canterbury Consulting - About Canterbury: History
Canterbury Consulting Incorporated was founded in 1988 with the singular mission of providing knowledgeable, comprehensive and independent investment management advice to help our clients meet their financial objectives. It is our desire to be an active partner with our clients to understand all aspects of their investment program, to convey knowledgeable guidance, and to provide exceptional service.

We have grown from just six employees when we started, to nearly 50 staff members today. Canterbury supervises $10 billion in client assets, with individual account values ranging from $10 million to $1 billion. Our clientele includes endowments, foundations, family offices, religious organizations, education centers, hospitals/medical centers, corporations and high net worth individuals.

Independence has always been a hallmark of Canterbury and we continue to be 100% employee-owned with no subsidiary or affiliate relationships. Our firm is financially sound and we have experienced steady growth of assets and number of clients over the last twenty years. Each of our consultants adds real value through their professional guidance and personal knowledge of every client account. The Canterbury difference may seem subtle at first, but the impact of our thoughtful approach is evidenced by our strong client retention and client referral rates.
